About

I’m a Senior Full-Stack Developer specializing in Next.js and the Vercel platform, and the founder of Duprey Technology Services — a consultancy focused on backend workflow automation with AI agents and frontend performance optimization for growing teams.

If you’re a team looking for help getting more out of Vercel — whether that’s automating a manual workflow with AI agents or making your frontend faster and easier to maintain — I’d love to hear what you’re working on. Reach out here, or head to duprey.ca to learn more about working together.

My Background

I spent seven years at Canopy Media, a web agency — the first five as a Developer and the last two as Senior Developer — working across full-stack projects for a range of clients before deciding to go out on my own. That experience, shipping real projects on real timelines for real clients, is exactly what I bring into consulting work now. You can read more about that path on the Experience page.

Today I specialize in the Next.js and Vercel ecosystem: TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Turborepo for managing multi-app projects, and AI agent frameworks like Eve for backend automation. I’m also a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where I studied Public Relations — a background that’s turned out to be more useful than I expected, since a lot of consulting work comes down to communicating clearly with clients, not just writing good code.

Life Stuff

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and still spend a lot of time there. These days I live with my wife in the Toronto area. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors — snowboarding, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and target shooting — and when I’m not outside, I’m probably still at the keyboard, or watching my Columbus Blue Jackets.

Feel free to say hello! I try to respond to every message.
